Al Workman is VP of Watts, Griffis and McOuat (WGM) and an exploration geologist with nearly 50 years of experience in 30 countries. His knowledge covers many metallogenic settings at all levels of exploration including reviews of mineral potential, the design and management of exploration projects, technical reports and mineral policy reviews. He played a key role in the discovery of the Holt-McDermott gold mine, Kirkland Lake area, Canada, a deposit that produced >2 Moz of gold. He is very experienced in the geology and mineral deposits of the Arabian Shield, with more than 30 years of work spanning Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
