Mark Ashwin, General Manager for Mining and Metals EAM, Bechtel Mining and Metals

Mark Ashwin is a Bechtel Principal Vice President with over 35 years’ experience in project management and execution, covering oil and gas, transportation infrastructure and metal processing facilities. He is a qualified chemical engineer and a recognized Fellow of the Institute of Chemical Engineers. Mark is the General Manager for Mining and Metals EAM region based in Riyadh and has overall responsibility for mining projects in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He is the primary contact for customers in this region and reports directly to the M&M Global Business Unit president.

Throughout his career with Bechtel, Mark has worked on multiple project sites in Abu Dhabi, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, and Saudi Arabia.
