The Future Minerals Forum (FMF) is the world's premier platform for minerals. FMF stands at the forefront of global industry connections, bringing together governments, international organizations, and stakeholders to collectively shape the future of minerals.
Thashen Naidoo is a Project Geophysicist at Xcalibur Smart Mapping, contributing to one of the world's most ambitious airborne geophysical initiatives—the Regional Geological Mapping Programme in Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the Saudi Geological Survey. With expertise in quality control, data processing, and project management, Thashen along with a skilled team ensures the success of this large-scale airborne geophysical initiative.
Holding an Honours degree in Geophysics and Mine Seismology from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, Thashen has a good track record in airborne geophysics, spanning projects in multiple countries (Botswana, Nigeria, Zambia, Uganda, South Africa, and Saudi Arabia). These projects have encompassed well over a million line kilometers of magnetic and radiometric data, demonstrating his capacity for handling high-impact geophysical surveys. His contributions continue to play a vital role in unlocking mineral wealth and supporting the strategic goals of the global geophysical community.
