Andrew joined KAZ Minerals Group in 2006 and has held a number of senior positions including Chief Financial Officer from 2013 to 2017 and he was appointed Chief Executive Officer at the start of 2018. As CEO, he has played a key role in the delivery of the Group’s growth strategy which has resulted in production rising from 85 kt in 2015 to 299 kt in 2021 whilst having amongst the lowest production costs globally.

Andrew is a chartered accountant who began his career at Deloitte in London. Prior to joining the Company, Andrew worked in corporate development at GlaxoSmithKline plc.
