Klein and Company since 2015 and currently serves as Senior Managing Director with a deep focus in Natural Resources (Oil and Gas, Metals and Mining, Chemicals), Energy Transition, and related technology sectors. He has over two decades of experience in senior corporate finance and strategy advisory work. He has advised the boards of Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies on a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, raid defense, shareholder activism, IPO’s, debt financings, and capital structure, and he has also provided valuable strategic advice to governments, SWFs, and institutional investors. In the Metals and Mining sector, Cyrus has extensive experience advising on strategic matters, such as M&A, financings, and strategic partnerships, for some of the industry’s leading players including Barrick Gold, Glencore / Xstrata, Ma’aden, Ivanhoe Group, BHP Billiton, Alcoa, Pan American Silver, Lundin Mining, Antofagasta, Cameco, Goldcorp, Uranium One, Coeur Mining, among others. Cyrus previously held roles as senior coverage officer in the Natural Resources groups at Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs.
