Mining is part of Sweden’s industrial foundation. With a long history in mining and refining, Sweden is also a leader in modern, high-tech mining – combining productivity with sustainability. At FMF 2026, Sweden returns for the third year in a row with a Swedish Pavilion featuring ABB, Atlas Copco, Epiroc, Sandvik and Scania, showcasing solutions used in mines and mineral value chains worldwide.
Visitors can expect concrete discussions and examples across electrification and energy efficiency, automation and remote operations, connected equipment and data-driven maintenance, drilling and rock excavation, and efficient haulage and logistics.
Building on Sweden’s strong partnership with Saudi Arabia, the pavilion aims to support the Kingdom’s mining growth agenda through collaboration – whether for new projects, operational excellence, local capability building, or more resilient mineral supply chains. The Swedish Pavilion will serve as a practical meeting point for Saudi stakeholders and international partners looking to move from ambition to implementation.
