United Kingdom Pavilion at Future Minerals Forum 2026

The UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is bringing a strategic mining trade mission from UK to FMF26. The companies are aligned with the theme of the 5th edition of FMF, ‘Dawn of a Global Cause’ with a broader focus on the entire value chain.

These companies share a strong commitment to sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, and innovative practices aimed at reducing environmental impact, often intersecting with mining, energy transition, natural resources extraction, construction, and related industries. While their specific focuses vary, they collectively contribute to global efforts in decarbonization, responsible resource management, and the shift toward renewable and low-carbon technologies. The companies share the below core values synergistic with UK’s new Critical Minerals and Industrial Strategies as well as the Saudi Vision 2030:

  • Sustainability and ESG Integration: All our companies emphasize ethical, environmentally conscious operations, such as managing risks, reducing emissions, and aligning with global standards like net-zero goals or circular economies.
  • Focus on Low-Carbon and Renewable Innovations: Most of the companies develop or support technologies that minimize CO2 output, promote renewables, or enable efficient use of critical minerals essential for clean energy (e.g., batteries, solar).
  • Involvement in Resource-Intensive Sectors: They operate in or serve mining, energy, construction, and materials handling, where sustainability is critical due to high environmental footprints. This includes exploration, equipment supply, analytics, and consulting to make these sectors more responsible.
  • Global Impact on Critical Supply Chains: The companies address the demand for critical minerals (e.g., lithium, cesium) or alternative materials, supporting the energy transition while mitigating the “SCM crisis” (shortage of supplementary cementitious materials) and infrastructure challenges.
  • Innovation for Efficiency and Reduction of Waste: Equipment and services are designed to enhance operational efficiency, recycling, and waste minimization, contributing to broader climate goals.
