In today’s development, Saudi Arabia is moving forward in developing the mineral sector. Several mining companies were established and others from other countries had shown their interests to partake on these activities. With this development, the services sector was also established and among them the analytical services provider.

In year 2000 Al Amri Labs mineral section was established to serve the mining and exploration company in the Kingdom. Al Amri Labs was the first mineral servicing lab in the Saudi Arabia, a challenge whether a wholly owned Saudi company can provide quality analytical services to prospective clients. The process was tedious convincing mining companies to try our services because our minerals division was new in the market.

It was a big opportunity when Saudi Arabian Mining Company in year 2001 tested our laboratory. Further test involved actual field samples that slowly increased in number. At some point we became the principal laboratory of Maaden.

We followed the JORC Code and participate International Roundrobin from Geostats and AMIS. All our reference materials are certified, which were supplied from different certified reference materials supplier like GEOSTATS, OREAS, CANMET, USGS, SABS, NBS, MINTEK and GANNET.
