Modern Chemicals & Services Company (MCS) is a joint venture between Modern Chemical Company Ltd. (MCC) and EPC Minetech, a subsidiary of the EPC Groupe of France. MCS specializes in the manufacture and supply of civil explosives and tailor-made services for the growing mining and infrastructure industries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
MCS operates through two strategically located production sites: one in the Western Province, one of the largest production facilities within the EPC Groupe, and the other in the Eastern Province. Each site manufactures a diverse range of civil explosive products serving various industries across the Kingdom, including civil works, infrastructure, mining, tunnelling, quarrying, and the cement sector.
MCS is proud to introduce a new concept to the Kingdom: the supply of bulk explosives via Mobile Mixing Units (MMU). These trucks allow for the on-site manufacturing of bulk explosives-an innovative technology new to Saudi Arabia. MCS is the sole authorized provider of this service.
In addition to the production and distribution of civil explosives, MCS also providing drilling and blasting advisory services. We provide expert guidance to help clients achieve the most cost-effective solutions for mineral ore extraction and processing.
